Dr. Jayadatt Pawar is an experienced Advanced Laparoscopic, Robotic, Gastrointestinal (GI), Colorectal and Bariatric Surgeon with more than 15 years of surgical experience. He focuses on evaluating patients with surgical conditions, explaining available treatment options and developing personalised treatment plans based on individual medical needs.
Dr. Pawar specialises in advanced laparoscopic surgery, robotic surgery, hernia surgery, gallbladder stone treatment, appendicitis treatment, colorectal surgery, piles, fissure, fistula, gastrointestinal cancer surgery, hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) surgery and bariatric surgery.
His areas of practice include the evaluation and surgical management of different types of hernias, including inguinal and abdominal wall hernias. Patients experiencing symptoms associated with gallbladder stones or appendicitis can undergo clinical assessment to determine the appropriate treatment approach.
Dr. Pawar also evaluates colorectal and proctological conditions, including piles, anal fissures and fistulas. Dr. Jayadatt Pawar holds MBBS, MS in General Surgery and DNB qualifications. His additional training includes FMAS, FNB in Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery from GEM Hospital, Coimbatore, FCRS in Colorectal Surgery from Hong Kong and FALS in Bariatric Surgery.
His professional achievements include the Bursary Award at AMASICON 2022 and securing 4th rank in the All India FET examination in 2021. He has participated as an invited faculty member and speaker at surgical programmes in Vietnam, Italy and South Korea. He has also contributed to more than 20 research papers published in peer-reviewed medical journals.
